Indications:
NiQuitin Mini 1.5 mg lozenges are indicated for the treatment of tobacco dependence by relieving symptoms associated with nicotine withdrawal, including feelings of craving, when trying to quit smoking. The ultimate goal of therapy is permanent smoking cessation. Whenever possible, when quitting smoking, NiQuitin Mini lozenges should be used simultaneously with a psychological smoking cessation program.
Contraindications:
Do not use NiQuitin Mini 1.5 mg lozenges: in case of hypersensitivity to nicotine or any of the excipients of the preparation, in children and adolescents under 12 years of age, in non-smokers.
Properties:
NiQuitin Mini 1.5 mg lozenges completely dissolve in the mouth and the entire dose of nicotine contained in them is available for absorption through the mucosa of the cheeks or by swallowing. The complete dissolution of the NiQuitin MINI tablet and the release of the therapeutic dose of nicotine usually takes place within 10 minutes (up to 3 times faster than lozenges and gums). When trying to quit smoking, do not interchange NiQutin MINI tablets with nicotine-containing chewing gum, as pharmacokinetic data indicate greater availability of nicotine from NiQuitin lozenges.
Composition:
Ingredients of NiQuitin Mini 1.5 mg lozenges: 1 tablet contains 1.5 mg of nicotine (as nicotine with cation exchanger).
Use:
Place one NiQuitin Mini 1.5 mg lozenge in the mouth and allow it to dissolve. Do not use NiQuitin MINI tablets: in case of hypersensitivity to nicotine or any of the excipients of the preparation, in children and adolescents under 12 years of age, in non-smokers.
