1 suppository contains: active ingredient dose: paracetamol 80 mg, excipient: vitepsol.
Action
The drug contains the active ingredient paracetamol, which has analgesic and antipyretic properties. The duration of the analgesic effect is 4-6 hours. Antipyretic effect 6-8 hours.
Dosage
HASCO Paracetamol suppositories are used rectally.
In adults, the dose is 500 mg once.
The maximum daily dose of paracetamol for adults is 4.0 g for short-term treatment and 2.6 g for long-term treatment.
Do not use for more than 10 days without doctor’s advice.
In children, the dose is determined depending on the child’s weight (on average 10–15 mg/kg body weight once) or according to the age table below.
Single doses:
3 months – 1 year – 80 mg
2–3 years – 125 mg
4–6 years – from 125 to 250 mg.
7–8 years – 250 mg
9–10 years – from 250 to 500 mg.
11–12 years – 500 mg.
If necessary, the dose can be repeated every 4 hours, but not more than 4 times a day.
Do not use the drug in children for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor.
Children under 2 years of age should use the drug only as prescribed by a doctor.
If you have the impression that the effect of paracetamol XASCO is too strong or too weak, consult your doctor.
Contraindications
Paracetamol XASCO should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to paracetamol, severe liver failure or viral hepatitis, alcoholism, severe renal failure.
Take special care when using HASCO Paracetamol.
Do not use doses higher than recommended.
Do not use without a doctor’s recommendation:
for pain relief for more than 10 days in adults and 3 days in children,
for sore throat lasting more than 2 days,
in case of relapse or high fever for more than 3 days.”
