“Magnesium ions play a fundamental role in regulating the rate of enzymatic reactions associated with carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism, are necessary in the process of muscle contraction and influence the central nervous system.
Indications
Medically:
Cardiac arrhythmia,
muscle cramps and numbness of the limbs,
muscle pain,
chronic fatigue,
excessive nervous excitability,
sleep disorders.
Preventatively:
with long-term use of certain diuretics,
when using oral contraceptives,
when using weight loss procedures,
with increased physical activity.
Active ingredient: Magnesii subcarbonas panderosus.
Compound
Magnesii Carbonas Basicum (basic magnesium carbonate) 500 mg (130 mg magnesium ions = approximately 10.70 mEq)
Excipients: lactose, potato starch, gelatin, talc, colloidal silica, magnesium stearate, sodium starch glycolate.
Dosage
The usual dose of Magnesin is (in adults): prophylactically: 600 mg per day, therapeutically: the dose is selected individually depending on the indications and the need for magnesium ions. The tablet should be swallowed whole and washed down with water. Do not use on an empty stomach.
Contraindications
If you are allergic to magnesium carbonate or any other ingredients of the medicine. An allergic reaction may include a rash, itching, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or shortness of breath.
If you suffer from: hypermagnesemia, severe renal failure, cardiac conduction block, myasthenia gravis, blood pressure below 100/60 mmHg, diarrhea.”
