The basic building block of hair and nails is keratin.
Keratin is a protein made of sulfur amino acids (methionine and cysteine).
Our body takes them from food and delivers them to the hair bulb and nail matrix through blood vessels.
Healthy and strong hair is composed of up to 97% cystine and methionine. They form disulfide bonds among themselves – one of the strongest possible bonds for cementing the protein structures of the body.
It is thanks to the good quality of sulphide bonds in the keratin structure that hair and nails are appropriately durable and flexible.
The nail plate, like the hair shaft, is composed mostly of keratin.
In properly growing nails, keratin is arranged like roof tiles, creating a strong, durable, damage-resistant structure.
Nails that have unevenly distributed keratin “tiles” are weak and brittle.
Composition:
L-lysine hydrochloride, L-cysteine, L-methionine, gelatin, L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C), corn starch, yeast enriched with selenium, anti-caking agent – calcium carbonate, zinc citrate, D-alpha-tocopheryl acetate ( vitamin E ), nicotinamide (niacin, vitamin B3), bamboo sprout extract (Bambusa spp.), anti-caking agent – magnesium salts of fatty acids, copper gluconate, retinyl acetate (vitamin A), sodium hyaluronate, dye – titanium dioxide, riboflavin (vitamin B2), D-biotin (vitamin H).
