Vitamin B 12 deficiency can manifest itself in the following clinical pictures:
Hyperchromic macrocytic megaloblastic anemia (periniticosis, Biermer’s anemia, Addison’s anemia; these are disorders of red blood cell maturation)
Funicular disease of the spine [spinal cord injury]
Dosage
At the beginning of treatment during the first two weeks after diagnosis: 1 ml (1 ampoule) once or twice a week, which corresponds to 1000 – 2000 xB5g cyanocobalamin per week.
In case of proven vitamin B12 absorption disorders, 100 xB5 g of cyanocobalamin are then introduced into the intestine once a month.
Duration of use:
The drug is intended for long-term use.
