Application areas
It is used to treat allergies.
For the treatment of signs (symptoms):
allergic rhinitis (including persistent allergic rhinitis);
Urticaria (hives).
Dosage
The recommended dose is:
Adults and children over 6 years of age, 1 film-coated tablet per day.
Special dosage instructions for special patient groups:
Patients with kidney and liver disease
Patients with impaired renal function may receive a lower dose, which depends on the severity of the kidney disease, and in children – also on body weight. The dose will be determined by your doctor.
Patients with severe renal impairment should not take the drug.
It is not recommended for use in children under 6 years of age.
Contraindications
The drug should not be taken
if you are allergic to levocetirizine dihydrochloride, cetirizine, hydroxyzine or any other ingredients of this drug.
if you have severely limited renal function (severe renal failure with creatinine clearance below 10 ml/min).”
