Usage
Taking Defumoxane allows you to gradually reduce nicotine dependence by relieving withdrawal symptoms associated with smoking cessation (such as depressed mood, irritability, anger, anxiety, difficulty concentrating, increased appetite, insomnia and anxiety). Smoking should be stopped no later than the 5th day of treatment. Do not continue to smoke during treatment, as this may aggravate the side effects. If the treatment is not successful, it must be stopped, and treatment can be started again after 2 to 3 months. Defumoxane is intended for adults.

One pack of Defumoxane (100 tablets) is sufficient for general treatment. The duration of treatment is 25 days. The treatment plan is described in the patient leaflet.
Do not take defumoxane
If you are allergic to cytisine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
If you have unstable angina
If you have recently had a heart attack
If you have a cardiac arrhythmia (abnormal heart rhythm)
If you have recently had a stroke
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
