Canephron is a traditional medicine from the Boiron laboratory which was made from three plants. Each tablet consists of 36 mg of flowering aerial powder of small knapweed ( Centaurium erythraea Rafn sI), 36 mg of lovage root powder ( Levisticum officinale Koch.) and 36 mg of rosemary leaf powder ( Rosmarinus officinalis L .). The excipients are glucose, sucrose (sugar) and lactose.
This medication is intended to promote urinary drainage and is particularly indicated in the case of uncomplicated urinary disorders such as the burning sensation when urinating, or a significant variation in the urge to urinate . It can also be prescribed to reduce the deposit of kidney microstones .
