Cantalène is a medicine in the form of lozenges, indicated for mild sore throats without fever, but also for mouth ulcers or small wounds in adults and children over 15 years of age. NB: In the event of general clinical signs of bacterial infection, systemic antibiotic therapy should be considered. The active substances in Cantalène are, for 1 tablet of 1 g (1 tablet contains 0.93 g of sucrose):
The other components of its formula are: Vanillin, strawberry flavor, aspartame, anhydrous colloidal silica, magnesium stearate, alveosugar with 2.5% maltodextrin.
The strawberry flavor is composed of: ethyl esters of acetic, butyric, valerianic acids, maltol, ethylmaltol, gamma-undecalactone, vanillin, gum arabic, maltodextrin.
The alveosugar with 2.5% maltodextrin, for its part, contains: sucrose, maltodextrin.
