The medicine Hexetidine Viatris 0.1% is an antiseptic mouthwash used in the local adjunctive treatment of mouth conditions.
For 100 ml of mouthwash solution, this medicine contains 0.100 g of hexetidine. Its other ingredients are polysorbate 80, sodium saccharin, methyl salicylate, azorubine 85% (E122), ethanol 96%, citric acid monohydrate, purified water and the aromatic composition E 502713 (eucalyptol, menthol, methyl salicylate, anethole, eugenol).
Dosage of Viatris Hexetidine Mouthwash 0.1%
This mouthwash, reserved for adults and children over 12 years old , is used pure or diluted , locally as a mouthwash.
The dosage is 1 dose 2 to 3 times a day.
To use this mouthwash, use the measuring cup. Pure, the solution must be poured up to the notch indicating 15 ml. The mouthwash is diluted when there are painful manifestations, at a rate of 15 ml of solution, topped up with water up to 30 ml.
This medication should not be swallowed.
