Nurofen for children provides fast, effective, long-lasting relief from teething pain, toothaches, earaches, headaches, minor muscle aches and pains, sore throats and cold and flu symptoms, and reduces fever.
Nurofen is a white viscous suspension for children with a strawberry flavor. It contains 100 mg of the active ingredient ibuprofen in each 5 ml of the drug. The package contains a syringe to measure the dose correctly. Always read the patient information leaflet carefully for dosage instructions before use. The lowest, effective dose should be used for the shortest duration necessary to relieve symptoms.
For infants 3-5 months of age, if symptoms worsen or persist, consult your doctor. Children and adolescents 6 months and older. consult your doctor if your child does not feel well or if your child’s condition worsens after 3 days. Do not give to children under 3 months of age or weighing less than 5 kg. Do not exceed the indicated dose. Keep out of the reach of children.
