The active ingredient is ketoconazole.
1 ml of medicated shampoo contains 20 mg of ketoconazole.
Excipients: sodium lauryl ether sulfate, coconut betaine, coconut oil diethanolamide, coconut oil glycosides and glyceryl oleate, ali-raq-α-tocopherol, polysorbate 20, imidurea, cochineal red (E 124), flavor 60910, sodium chloride. hydrochloric acid, purified water.
Dosage
The medicine is intended for topical use.
Apply the required amount of medicated shampoo to damp hair and skin and massage until foam forms. Rinse off after 5 minutes. You can first wash your hair with regular shampoo.
For scalp dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis:
therapeutically – 2 times a week for 2–4 weeks;
for preventive purposes – once every 2 weeks.
For lichen versicolor:
therapeutically – once a day for 5 days
for preventive purposes – before the summer period, 1 time per day for the next 3 days.
Action
Zoxin-honey is a medicinal shampoo containing the active substance ketoconazole. This is an antifungal drug intended for topical use on the skin.
Indications
Zoxin-honey is indicated for the prevention and local treatment of fungal skin infections caused by Malassezia yeast:
for dandruff of the scalp (flaking of the epidermis in the form of white, easily separated scales)
for seborrheic dermatitis (brown-red patches on the chest and face that flake off as white or yellow scales)
for tinea versicolor (small pink-beige or white spots).
Contraindications

if you are allergic to the active substance or any other ingredient of the medicine.
Side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine may cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
Rarely (occurs in 1–10 people out of 10,000): local itching, burning, contact dermatitis, irritation; oily or dry hair.
Very rare (affects less than 1 in 10,000 people): changes in hair color, mainly damage and graying of hair.
Warnings and Precautions
Zoxin-honey contains red cochineal (E 124). Cochineal red may cause allergic reactions.
