Aftagel is a medicine administered in the local treatment of limited inflammatory lesions of the oral mucosa and mouth ulcers. It is a 15 ml tube.
The active ingredient is lidocaine hydrochloride 0.6g (a local anesthetic), zinc sulfate 0.5g per 100 ml of oral gel.
The other ingredients are: glycerol, hydroxyethylcellulose, strawberry flavor LC 15096, sodium saccharin, clove essential oil, cochineal red A (E 124), purified water.
with Propylene glycol which is an excipient with known effect.
