Application areas
Clotrimazole is an active ingredient from the group of broad-spectrum antifungals (medicines for the treatment of fungal infections).
The drug is used for fungal infections of the skin caused by dermatophytes, yeasts (for example, Candida species), mold and others, such as Malassezia furfur, as well as infections caused by Corynebacterium minutissimum. They can manifest as mycosis of the feet, mycosis of the skin and skin folds, pityriasis versicolor, erythrasma, superficial candidiasis.
Dosage

The cream is 2 to 3 pieces. Apply a thin layer of cream to the skin of the face. on the affected areas and rub in twice a day.
A small amount of cream (approximately 1/2 cm of strand length) is usually sufficient for an area the size of a palm.
Duration of use
Regular and sufficiently long-term use of the cream is important for successful treatment.
The duration of treatment varies; it depends, among other things, on the extent and localization of the disease. In order to achieve complete healing, treatment with the cream should not be stopped after the disappearance of acute inflammatory symptoms or subjective complaints, but should be continued for at least 4 weeks.
Versicolor lichen generally heals in 1-3 weeks and erythrasma in 2-4 weeks. In the case of athlete’s foot – to prevent relapses – and despite the rapid subjective improvement, treatment should be continued for about 2 weeks after all symptoms have disappeared. After each wash, the feet should be thoroughly dried (between the toes).
Contraindications
The drug should not be used if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active ingredient clotrimazole or any other ingredient.”
