The drug Betadine dermal 10% is a solution for skin application containing iodine, having an antiseptic and disinfectant action. It is indicated for the antisepsis of wounds or small superficial burns , as well as for the treatment of conditions of the skin and mucous membranes that are infected or likely to be infected. It comes in the form of 5ml single doses.
Betadine Dermal 10% solution contains Povidone iodine dosed at 10% (for 100 ml). It is also composed of glycerol, macrogol lauryl ether (9), disodium phosphate dihydrate, citric acid monohydrate, sodium hydroxide and purified water.
