This medication can be administered to children from 18 months of age, but between this age and 6 years of age, medical advice should be sought. Up to 6 years of age, to avoid the risk of misdirection, melt the granules in a little water before giving it to the child.
The granules should be allowed to melt under the tongue.
Cocculin will be administered as follows: a first dose the day before departure, a second dose just before leaving. A dose may be given if symptoms appear. This dose can be repeated if necessary but will stop as soon as the symptoms improve.
It is preferable to take doses of Cocculin away from meals.
