Colludol is a locally acting medicine presented in the form of a mouthwash . It contains an antiseptic and a local anesthetic, and is indicated as an adjunct treatment in cases of mild sore throat without fever, mouth ulcers and small mouth wounds .
The active ingredients of Colludol are hexamidine diisethionate (0.100 g) and lidocaine hydrochloride (0.200 g) per 100 ml of solution. The excipients are composed of glycerol and sucrose and the flavors of passion fruit, peach and mint.
Colludol throat spray dosage
Colludol is used as an oral spray .
In adults, the dosage is 1 to 2 sprays 3 times a day.
In children, it can be used from 6 years old at a rate of 1 spray 1 to 3 times a day.
The doses should be spaced 4 hours apart.
Do not exceed 5 days of treatment without medical advice.
