The medication Fluvermal tablet is a deworming medication indicated in the treatment of infestations by certain parasitic worms of the digestive tract : pinworms , roundworms , whipworm , hookworm.
The active ingredient is flubendazole dosed at 100 mg.

Dosage of Fluvermal dewormer
The dosage of Fluvermal tablets is identical for children and adults but changes depending on the type of worms to be treated.
- If you are infected with pinworms you will need to take a single tablet. The dose will be repeated 15 to 20 days later to completely eliminate any infestation because Fluvermal only kills adults and not eggs.
Hygiene measures such as brushing nails, cutting them short, changing pajamas, boiling sheets or towels… should accompany treatment with Fluvermal tablet to eliminate the risk of re-infestation with disseminated eggs in the environment.
- If it is other worms, roundworms, trichocephalosis, hookworm, it is a tablet morning and evening for 3 days that will have to be taken.
The tablets are to be swallowed or can be chewed during meals. There is no need to fast or purge before taking the Fluvermal tablet .
