- Fungofin Cream is a synthetic antifungal product intended for the treatment of skin infections caused by fungi. Fungofin Cream is indicated for the treatment of:
• Superficial fungal infections caused by strains of Trichophyton (T.rubrum and T.mentagrophytes, T. verrucosum, T. violaceum), Microsporum cams and Tinea pedis (athlete’s foot), Tinea cruris (fungal infection of the groin) or Tinea corporis ( on the body – ringworm) caused by Epidermophyton floccosum.
• Skin infections (intertrigo) caused by Candida yeast (Candida albicans).
• Pityriasis versicolor (variegated lichen) caused by Pytirospomm orbiculare (Malassezia furfur).
