The Glycerol Vaseline Paraffin cream developed by the Viatris laboratory is a skin treatment indicated in cases of superficial burns and dry skin leading to atopic dermatitis, ichthyosis and psoriasis.
The active substances in this Viatris cream are glycerol, vaseline and liquid paraffin at respective levels of 15, 8 and 2 grams per 100 grams of product.
The other components that complete the formula are stearic acid, glycerol monostearate, cyclomethicone, dimethicone, macrogol 600, propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), trolamine and purified water.
The mode of action of the Glycerol Vaseline Paraffin cream consists of moistening the skin in order to reinforce its level of hydration thanks to the glycerol while filling its hydrolipidic film, a real natural barrier against external aggressions and dryness, thanks to the liquid paraffin and the vaseline.
