“Composition
1 ml of syrup contains 1.5 mg of butamirate citrate (Butamirati citras).
5 ml of syrup contains 7.5 mg of butamirate citrate (Butamirati citras).
Excipients: liquid sorbitol, non-crystallising, glycerol, sodium saccharin (E 954), sodium hydroxide, vanillin, benzoic acid (E 210), ethanol 96% (v/v), purified water
Indications
The syrup is intended for children over 3 years of age and for adults who experience a dry and choking cough
Action
Reduces the frequency and intensity of coughing, relaxes the bronchial muscles.
Dosage
Age Dose
children aged 3 to 6 years 5 ml of syrup 3 times a day
children aged 6 to 12 years 10 ml of syrup 3 times a day
adolescents over 12 years of age 15 ml of syrup 3 times a day
adults 15 ml of syrup 4 times a day
