ImodiumCaps is an anti-diarrheal medication indicated for the short-term treatment of acute transient diarrhea in adults and children aged 15 and over.
This is a treatment in addition to health and diet measures.
Its active substance is loperamide hydrochloride dosed at 2.00 mg (quantity corresponding to loperamide base: 1.86) for one capsule.
The other components of its formula are lactose monohydrate, talc, corn starch and magnesium stearate.
The capsule shell, for its part, is composed of gelatin, indigotine, yellow iron oxide (E172), titanium dioxide (E171), black iron oxide (E172), erythrosine.
