The medication loperamide 2 mg is indicated for acute and transient diarrhea in adults and children aged 15 and over. This treatment should be administered in parallel with health and diet measures. It comes in the form of a box containing twelve capsules.
The active ingredient is loperamide hydrochloride 2 mg with a quantity corresponding to loperamide base 1.86 mg for one capsule. Other components of the capsule contents are lactose monohydrate, rice starch, talc and magnesium stearate.
Lactose is an excipient with a notorious effect and the composition of the capsule shell is gelatin and titanium dioxide.
