Mycoster cream 1% is a medicine recommended in the treatment of mycoses of the skin or nails (diseases due to fungi) infected or not by bacteria, of mild to moderate seborrheic dermatitis
of the face. Its active ingredient is ciclopirox olamine dosed at 1%, the excipients of Mycoster cream are: Octyldodecanol, light liquid paraffin, stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, tetradecanol, diethanolamide of copra fatty acids, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, benzyl alcohol, lactic acid, purified water.
Dosage of Mycoster 1% cream
It depends on the pathology you are trying to treat.
In the treatment of skin mycoses: 2 times a day for 3 weeks
In the treatment of nail mycoses: application of the cream for several months.
In mild to moderate seborrheic dermatitis of the face, there are 2 phases:
- for attack treatment: 2 applications per day for 2 to 4 weeks.
- for maintenance: once a day for one month.
