Microbiane Q10 Age Protect is a dietary supplement based on coenzyme Q10 in the form of ubiquinol and vitamin E. Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative stress.
What is ubiquinol?
In normal healthy people, 80% of the total amount of coenzyme Q10 in plasma is in the form of ubiquinol. This is the form in which coenzyme Q10 is used by cells. However, at an older age (after 55 years), less ubiquinol is observed in the body compared to total CoQ10. PiLeJe has chosen to obtain Co Q10 through the fermentation process of Kaneka QH™ yeast, similar to the synthesis of Co Q10 in the human body.
