Pyralvex , oral and gingival gel is a drug recommended in the local treatment of inflammatory lesions of the oral mucosa, but also for the local treatment of mouth ulcers .
Its active substances are rhubarb (purified sodium hydroalcoholic dry extract of root with 0.43 – 0.53% anthraquinone derivatives) dosed at 5.0 g, and salicylic acid, dosed at 1.0 g, per 100 g of gel.
The other components of its formula are 96% ethanol, glycerol, trolamine, carbomer (carbopol 2984), sodium saccharin, and purified water.
