Application areas
The drug is an anti-cold remedy (rhinological, alpha-sympathomimetic).
The active substance xylometazoline hydrochloride has vasoconstrictor properties and thereby reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa.
The drug is used.
to reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa in colds, episodic rhinitis (vasomotor rhinitis) and allergic rhinitis (allergic rhinitis).
to facilitate the outflow of secretions in inflammation of the paranasal sinuses and otitis (catarrh of the middle ear tube) in combination with a runny nose.
The medicine is intended for children from 2 to 6 years old.
Dosage
The recommended dose is:
For children from 2 to 6 years old, 1 spray can be instilled into each nostril up to 3 times a day.
Do not exceed the recommended dosage and duration of use!
Duration of use:
Do not use the medicine for more than 7 days without consulting a doctor.
Repeated use should only be carried out after a break of several days. The duration of use in children should always be consulted with a doctor.
Due to the risk of damage to the nasal mucosa, it can only be used for chronic colds under the supervision of a doctor.

Contraindications
The medicine must not be used
if you are allergic to xylometazoline hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
if you suffer from dry inflammation of the nasal mucosa with crust formation (dry rhinitis).
