“Composition
The active substance is dried juice of purple coneflower.
Each tablet contains 100 mg of dried squeezed juice of fresh flowering purple coneflower (22-65:1).
Excipients:
highly dispersed silicon dioxide, sorbitol, sodium cyclamate, magnesium stearate.
Echinacea-ratiopharm ® is used to treat frequently recurring respiratory and urinary tract infections.
Dosage
The recommended dose is
Old -Single dose -Daily dose
Children under 6 years of age -It is not intended for use
Children aged 6 to 12 years -1 tablet (equivalent to 100 mg of dried squeezed juice of freshly blooming purple echinacea (22-65:1)) -2-3 tablets (one tablet 2-3 times a day)
Young people aged 12 years and older and adults -1 tablet -3-4 tablets (one tablet 3-4 times a day)
Method of administration:
The tablets can be sucked, chewed or washed down with a glass of liquid, preferably a glass of water. It is taken regardless of food.
Duration of use:
Echinacea-ratiopharm ® should not be taken continuously for more than 10 days without consulting a doctor.
If you forget to take Echinacea Ratiopharm ®:
Do not take a double dose if you forget to take the previous dose.
Echinacea Ratiopharm ® should not be taken.
children under one year of age, since the immune system is not yet fully developed,
if you are allergic to purple echinacea, plants of the daisy family or any of the other ingredients of the preparation mentioned in section 6.
For fundamental reasons, Echinacea-ratiopharm ® should not be used in progressive systemic diseases (such as tuberculosis, sarcoidosis), systemic diseases of the leukocyte system (e.g. leukemia or leukemia-like diseases, leukemia), autoimmune diseases (inflammatory diseases of connective tissue (collagenoses), multiple sclerosis), immunodeficiency (AIDS/HIV infections), immunosuppression (e.g. after organ or bone marrow transplantation, cancer chemotherapy), chronic viral diseases.
How should Echinacea Ratiopharm ® be stored?
Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
Do not store at temperatures above 25°C.
Store in original packaging to protect contents from moisture.”
