“Composition
The active ingredient is flurbiprofen.
One lozenge contains 8.75 mg of flurbiprofen.
Excipients:
isomalt (Eur.Ph.) (E 953), maltitol (E 965), macrogol 300 (E 1521), peppermint oil (D-limonene), lemon flavoring (D-limonene and geraniol), honey. Aroma
Application
Flurbiprofen Ratiopharm with honey and lemon flavor is used in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older for short-term relief of sore throat symptoms, such as inflammation of the mucous membrane of the throat, pain and swelling, difficulty swallowing.
Dosage
Recommended dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older:
1 lozenge every 3-6 hours as needed.
Do not take more than 5 lozenges in 24 hours.
Take 1 lozenge and let it dissolve slowly in your mouth.
Do not take Flurbiprofen ratiopharm honey-lemon flavour for longer than 3 days unless your doctor has prescribed it for you.
Use in children:
Do not use in children under 12 years of age.
Flurbiprofen ratiopharm honey-lemon flavour must not be used if:
You are allergic (hypersensitive) to flurbiprofen or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6.
You have asthma, unexpected wheezing or difficulty breathing, runny nose, swelling of the face or itchy rash (hives) after taking aspirin or another NSAID.
You have or have had ulcers in the stomach/intestine area (two or more stomach or duodenal ulcers).
After using other NSAIDs, you have had gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation, severe inflammation of the colon (colitis), or blood disorders.
You are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.
You have or have had severe problems with your heart, liver, or kidneys.”
