Areas of application
The drug is an anti-inflammatory and analgesic agent.
It is used in adults for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain caused by known osteoarthritis (joint wear).
Dosage
For adults:
In adults, if taking this medicine is necessary for more than 5 (-7) days or if symptoms worsen, seek medical attention.
The recommended dose is:
Body weight >/= 40 kg (adults)
Single dose: 1 soft capsule (equivalent to 400 mg ibuprofen).
Maximum daily dose: 3 soft capsules (equivalent to 1200 mg ibuprofen).
After taking a single dose, wait at least 6 hours before taking the next dose.
The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest period of time needed to relieve symptoms. If you have an infection, contact your doctor immediately if symptoms (such as fever and pain) persist or worsen.
Contraindications
You should not take this medicine:
if you are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients in this medicine;
if you have a history of bronchospasm, asthma attacks, nasal congestion, skin reactions or sudden swelling after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-al anti-inflammatory drugs;
if you have unexplained blood disorders;
if you have or have had recurrent stomach/duodenal ulcers (peptic ulcers) or bleeding in the past (at least 2 different episodes of proven ulcers or bleeding);
if you have a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation due to previous therapy with non-al anti-inflammatory drugs/anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs);
if you have bleeding in the brain (cerebrovascular haemorrhage) or other active bleeding;
if you have severe liver or kidney dysfunction;
if you have severe heart failure (heart failure);
severe dehydration (caused, for example, by vomiting, diarrhea or insufficient fluid intake);
in the last trimester of pregnancy;
people weighing up to 40 kg, as this dosage is not suitable due to the higher content of the active substance;
children and young people under 18 years of age.”
