Composition
Contents of the package:
– 1x aluminum sealed bag containing
– 1x test plate
– 1x plastic pipette
– 1x sachet with moisture absorber
– 1x dropper bottle containing 1ml of diluent
– 1x sterile lancet (lancing device) for blood collection
Indications
The test is used to detect elevated levels of thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) in the blood and is the first screening test for hypothyroidism.
The most common symptoms that may suggest hypothyroidism:
– excessive hair loss, dry and flaky skin
– increased sleepiness and fatigue, even after a good night’s sleep – feeling tired and decreased concentration
– weight gain or difficulty losing weight
– in women, hypothyroidism is very often responsible for problems with getting pregnant and miscarriages
– thermoregulation disorders – feeling of cold hands and feet
– mood swings, very often depression
