Vitabact, single dose is an antiseptic medicine in the form of eye drops , intended for ophthalmic use. It is indicated in the treatment of certain superficial infections of the eye .
Its active substance is picloxydine hydrochloride dosed at 0.2 mg (corresponding quantity in picloxydine base: 0.173 mg) for 1 single-dose container.
The other components that enter into its formula are polysorbate 80, anhydrous glucose, and water for injections.
Dosage of Vitabact, single dose
The generally recommended dosage is 1 drop to be instilled in the eye to be treated, 2 to 6 times per day .
The duration of treatment should not exceed 10 days.
In all cases, you must comply with your doctor’s prescription.
You can first rinse the eye with borax boric acid 15 minutes before putting in the treatment eye drops.
