Omegamed® Optima Forte is a preparation ideally suited to the needs of pregnant women in Poland.
It contains BIG FIVE, i.e. 5 recommended, necessary ingredients that, according to the recommendations of experts, should be additionally taken by a pregnant woman in Poland: DHA, folates, vitamin D, iodine and iron. Omegamed® Optima Forte is enriched with additional amounts of DHA.
DHA supports the proper development of the child, especially the brain and eyesight, reduces the risk of allergies and asthma, and shapes immunity. Increased DHA content additionally protects the baby by reducing the risk of premature birth before 34 weeks gestation by over 85% **.
Vitamin D supports the proper growth and development of bones and strengthens immunity. Pregnant women are particularly vulnerable to vitamin D deficiency. This is due to a poor diet and reduced exposure to the sun, which is a natural source of vitamin D.
Folates (Actifolin ™ + folic acid)
Daily intake of folic acid reduces the risk of malformations of the nervous system, the so-called fetal neural tube defects. As it turns out, unfortunately, not all women have a chance to assimilate the folate necessary for a child from folic acid. This problem may affect up to 50% of women. The perfect solution for all women and additional protection is a specially developed, patented, highly absorbable, active form of folate – Actifolin ™.
Iodine supports the proper growth of the child and the course of pregnancy.
Iron reduces the risk of anemia in pregnancy and in the baby after birth.

Omegamed® Optima Forte contains unique, patented forms of ingredients: DHA from algae (Life’s DHA®), vitamin D (Acti D3®), iron (Actiferol Fe®) and an additional source of folates (Actifolin ™). Thanks to this, the preparation ensures excellent tolerance (does not increase nausea) and high bioavailability of all active ingredients. The new, smaller capsules are easy to swallow.
Method of administration:
Recommended daily dose :
2 DHA capsules and 1 optima capsule. Depending on individual needs, the doctor may prescribe a different portion for daily consumption.
