Properties:
Simethicone is a drug used against flatulence and excessive accumulation of gases. It works in the stomach and intestines by changing the surface tension at the interface between the liquid contents of the digestive tract and gas bubbles. This promotes the fusion of bubbles accumulated in food and saliva, and then their release through the intestines. Gases are removed from the digestive tract by belching, breathing, or increased absorption of gas into the blood. Due to its antifoaming properties, simethicone is used as an adjuvant for removing gases before diagnostic studies: ultrasound, radiography and endoscopy of the abdominal cavity.
Mode of application:
Orally. Suck 1-2 tablets 2-3 times a day after or between meals. Do not use longer than 2 weeks.
Compound:
1 capsule contains: simethicone (simethicone) 80 mg. Excipients: gelatin, glycerin, quinoline yellow.”
