Drug substance and its quantity
Clotrimazole 100 mg in one vaginal tablet.
How to use
Insert the vaginal tablet as deep into the vagina as possible with a clean finger.
The recommended dose of the drug is one vaginal tablet per day (preferably in the evening) for 6 consecutive days.
Use the included applicator to insert the vaginal tablets as deep into the vagina as possible. The tablets are best administered while lying on your back with your legs slightly bent. If you are taking the pills as directed by your doctor during the second or third trimester (4th to 9th month) of pregnancy, do not use the applicator to administer the pills. Treatment cannot be interrupted and should therefore be started in such a way that it is stopped before the onset of menstruation.
What to watch out for
For vaginal inflammation caused by yeast or fungal infections, six days of treatment is usually sufficient. If necessary, treatment can be continued for another six days.
In general, symptoms of vaginitis caused by pathogenic microbes (eg, itching, discharge, burning sensation) are significantly reduced within the first 4 days after starting treatment.
Consult your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after 4 days of treatment or if your symptoms worsen while taking this product.
Taking this product during pregnancy is only possible in the 2nd and 3rd trimester, but you should definitely consult your doctor. The use of this product during breastfeeding is possible, but you should always consult your doctor.
