“A medication for internal use to relieve problems associated with benign enlargement of the prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia), such as an increased need to urinate (especially at night), weak or intermittent urine stream, a feeling that the bladder is not emptying completely, or pain when urinating.
Benign prostatic hyperplasia refers to a benign enlargement of the prostate. This is a natural process of aging of the prostate; When the prostate enlarges, it puts pressure on the urethra, making it difficult to empty the bladder. The first symptoms can appear as early as 40 years of age; by 65 years of age, they occur in 70% of men.
Pharmaceutical form
Oval, two-color, red-black soft gelatin capsules containing a brown to yellowish-brown or greenish-brown oily liquid.
Drug substance and its quantity
The active substance is Serenoa repens (W. Bartram) Small, fructus (saw palmetto) extract (911:1) extracted with ethanol 96% v/v. One soft capsule contains 320 mg of extract.
Excipients: succinylated gelatin, glycerin 85%, purified water, titanium dioxide (E 171), yellow iron oxide (E 172), black iron oxide (E 172), carmine (E 120).
How to use
Take 1 softgel daily after meals, preferably at the same time of day.
The capsules are swallowed whole and washed down with a sufficient amount of liquid.
Regular daily use of the product is especially important for the success of the treatment.
Improvement in difficulties can only be expected after about 4 weeks.
What to watch out for
Prostamol Uno only improves problems with prostate hyperplasia without affecting the enlargement itself.
Softgels contain Ponceau 4R dye, which may cause allergic reactions.

Use in children and adolescents.
