This drug is a local contraceptive (protects against conception):
– contains the drug benzalkonium chloride, which is a spermicide (destroys the ability of sperm to fertilize);
– this drug significantly reduces the likelihood of unwanted pregnancy, but does not completely eliminate it.
The effectiveness of the product depends on correct adherence to the instructions for use.
When should you use FARMATEX?
This method of contraception is suitable for all women who need contraception, especially in the following cases:
– when a woman is temporarily or permanently unable to use hormonal contraception or use an intrauterine device;
– Contraception during the period after childbirth or miscarriage, during breastfeeding and during the period before menopause (that is, until the end of regular menstrual bleeding in menopausal women);
– method of contraception for unwanted (occasional) sexual intercourse;
– Periodic contraception in case you forget to take your pill or take it too late. In this case, read the instructions for your oral hormonal contraceptive again: you must use both methods of contraception until the end of the menstrual cycle.
