How to dose Neocate Junior?
The amount of product consumed and dilution should be determined solely by the physician and depend on the age, body weight and clinical condition of the patient.
Recommended concentration: 21.1% w/v. (1 kcal/ml) is achieved by adding 1 flat measuring spoon of powder for every 30 ml of water. 1 flat measuring cup = 7.3 g powder.
Neocate Junior – how to use it
To wash hands. Use clean dishes.
Measure the required volume of water and pour it into the container. Fill the supplied measuring cup with powder.
Remove excess powder with a clean, dry knife. Do not pack the powder into the measuring cup. Use only the measuring cup included in the package.
Add the recommended number of scoops of powder to the water.
Close the container and shake until the powder dissolves.
Store the prepared product in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours. Shake or stir just before serving. When administered orally, the drug is best taken chilled.
