Espumisan is used:
For the symptomatic treatment of gastrointestinal disorders associated with excessive gas formation, such as flatulence, infantile intestinal colic in children over 1 month.
Supports preparation for abdominal examinations such as x-rays, ultrasounds and gastroscopy.
As a defoaming agent for poisoning with surfactants (detergents).
Active ingredient: Simethicone.
Composition of Espumisan
Active ingredient: 1 ml of emulsion for oral use contains 100 mg of simethicone.
Excipients: macrogol stearate, glycerol monostearate 40-55, sorbic acid, sodium hydroxide (to adjust pH), acesulfame potassium, sodium chloride, liquid sorbitol (non-crystallizing) (E 420), carbomer, sodium citrate, banana flavor, purified. water.
How to use Espumisan?
The dose of the drug should be selected taking into account the severity of symptoms. Espumisan 100 mg/ml can be taken immediately before, during or after meals, and, if necessary, before bedtime.

Infants: 5-10 drops should be added to a bottle of milk or given as a small spoonful before each breastfeeding.
Children 1–6 years old: 10 drops 3–5 times a day.
Children 6–14 years old: 10–20 drops 3–5 times a day.
Teenagers and adults: 20 drops 3-5 times a day.
