Intended Use:
Calpol 6 Plus is used to treat fever that occurs when:
• cold,
• flu
• childhood diseases
and pain of mild or moderate intensity, i.e.
• headache,
• toothache,
• pain in muscles, joints and bones,
• pain after surgical and dental procedures.
Active ingredient: Paracetamol
Compound
The active ingredient is paracetamol.
Excipients: sucrose, sorbitol 70%, dispersed cellulose, glycerin, polysorbate 80, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, sugar flavor FP731, orange flavor 510652 E, sunset yellow E 110, purified water.
Dosage
Always use this medication exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Calpol 6 Plus should not be diluted. Shake thoroughly before use. The included dispenser makes it easy to measure the dose of medication.
The neck of the bottle should be wiped after each opening. Close the bottle carefully, being careful not to damage the cap.
Dosage for children aged 6 to 12 years:

10 – 12 years 10 ml (5 ml + 5 ml) 4 times
Do not use more than 4 doses per day.
Leave an interval of at least 4 hours between doses.
Do not use the product for more than 3 days without consulting your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use in children under 6 years of age. For children aged 2 months to 6 years, Calpol 120 mg/5 ml oral suspension is recommended.
Dosage for adolescents 12–16 years old: 10–15 ml up to 4 times a day.
Dosage for adults and adolescents over 16 years of age: 10–20 ml up to 4 times a day.
If you have used more Calpol 6 Plus than you should.
Early symptoms of overdose, which may be toxic to the liver, may include: anorexia, nausea, vomiting, excessive sweating, pallor and general malaise. These symptoms may disappear the next day, although liver damage begins to develop, which then manifests itself as bloating, return of nausea and jaundice.
If you take more than recommended, contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
If you forget to take Calpol 6 Plus.
The medicine is used in emergency cases. If you miss a dose and symptoms persist, take the next dose.
Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
Contraindications
When should you not use Calpol 6 Plus:
if you are allergic to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).”
