Active ingredient: live lactic acid bacteria strain Lactobacillus rhamnosus 573, approximately 10-10 (including at least 10-8 CFU).
Excipients: skimmed milk powder, sucrose, sodium L-glutamate, potato starch, magnesium stearate, mannitol; Capsule composition: gelatin and titanium dioxide.
Dosage
The drug is intended for vaginal use.
Adult women and girls over 16 years of age: 1–2 capsules per day (1 capsule morning and evening) for 1 week. The capsule should be inserted deep into the vagina.
If necessary, treatment can be repeated after consulting a doctor.
Action
Lactovaginal contains lactic acid bacteria that produce lactic acid, which gives the vagina the appropriate acidity (appropriate pH). The acidic reaction (pH 4.0-4.7) inhibits the growth of pathogenic bacteria. Lactobacilli also reduce the number of pathogenic microorganisms, restore the natural microbiological balance and normalize vaginal discharge.
Indications
The drug is used for violations of the bacterial flora of the vagina, as well as for:
prevention,
inflammation of the reproductive organs, after treatment with antibacterial, antitrichomoniacal and antifungal drugs,
when vaginal discharge appears.
Contraindications
When you should not use Lactovaginal:
if you are allergic to the active substance or any other ingredient of the medicine.
Use of the drug in children and adolescents
Do not use in girls under 16 years of age.”
