Action and application:
ORSALIT® replenishes fluids and minerals in cases of water and electrolyte imbalance.

sodium – 0.14 g
potassium – 0.08 g
Osmolarity of the solution: 230 (mOsm/l).
ORSALIT® Raspberry Flavor and ORSALIT® Banana Flavor contain flavorings and do not contain fruit. None of the ORSALIT® modifications contain milk protein, lactose or gluten.
Application:
Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 200 ml of warm boiled water. The measuring cup included in the package is used to measure out the appropriate amount of water. The liquid should not be sweetened. ORSALIT® can be administered through a tube. Cool before serving. When vomiting, give liquid often, in small portions (with a spoon).
DOSAGE
The dosage depends on the degree of dehydration and the doctor’s recommendations.
It is generally recommended to administer 50–100 ml of oral rehydration solution per kg body weight in the first 4 hours and an additional 5–10 ml per kg of body weight after each diarrheal stool and/or vomiting.
In the next stage of hydration, it is recommended to administer 5-10 ml of oral rehydration fluid per kg of body weight after each diarrheal stool and/or vomiting.
Contraindications:
ORSALIT® should not be used by people suffering from intestinal obstruction or hemodynamic shock. The product can be consumed by diabetics, but it is necessary to control blood sugar levels.
Warnings:
ORSALIT® with banana flavor and ORSALIT® with raspberry flavor are intended for children from 6 months. Infants under 6 months of age and children prone to allergies should be given ORSALIT® without flavoring additives. The product should be taken under medical supervision. Do not use parenterally. ORSALIT® is an incomplete food product. It should not be used as the sole food source. The product should not be used by people who are not at risk of dehydration.”
