The active ingredient of the drug is almotriptan (Almotriptanum).
1 tablet contains 12.5 mg of almotriptan (Almotriptanum) in the form of almotriptan malate.
Excipients: tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, mannitol, sodium starch glycolate (type A), povidone K29-32, sodium stearyl fumarate. Shell: hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol 400, carnauba wax.
Dosage
Nomigren can only be used in patients with diagnosed migraine.
Adults (from 18 to 65 years old). Recommended dose: one tablet (12.5 mg).
The maximum daily dose is two tablets (25 mg). The tablet should be swallowed with liquid (for example, water). The tablet can be taken with or without food.
Action
Nomigren has anti-migraine and analgesic properties.
Indications
Nomigren is indicated for the treatment of acute headaches during migraine attacks with or without aura.
Contraindications
You should not use the drug if you have: hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients; has coronary heart disease (myocardial infarction, angina, documented silent ischemia, Prinzmetal’s angina); has severe hypertension or uncontrolled mild or moderate hypertension; suffered a cerebrovascular accident (CVA) or transient ischemic attack (TIA); has peripheral vascular disease; has serious liver problems.”
