Dobendan Direct Flurbiprofen 8.75 mg tablets have anti-inflammatory, decongestant and analgesic effects. These effects are based on the active substance flurbiprofen, which penetrates into the inflamed tissues of the throat and significantly relieves pain after 20 minutes. This also leads to swelling of the mucous membrane of the throat. To achieve this effect, flurbiprofen blocks special mediator substances called prostaglandins. They play a significant role in the development of inflammation, pain and fever.
The lozenges act for up to four hours.
Applications
Dobendan Direct Flurbiprofen 8.75 mg tablets (PZN 06866410) are used for the symptomatic treatment of inflammation of the throat and mucous membrane of the pharynx, accompanied by painful difficulties in swallowing. A sore throat is one of the typical symptoms of a cold and may occur in combination with a runny nose, cough, hoarseness or fever.
Dosage and administration
Dobendan Direct Flurbiprofen 8.75 mg tablets simply dissolve in the mouth. You can also let them melt in your mouth. The drug is suitable for both adult patients and children aged 12 years and older. The drug should not be taken in the last 3 months of pregnancy. If you are in the first 6 months of pregnancy or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before taking it.
Adults and children aged 12 years and older take one lozenge 1 to 5 times a day. Administration occurs every 3-6 hours. No more than 5 tablets should be taken within 24 hours.
Dobendan Direct Flurbiprofen 8.75 mg tablets should not be used for more than 3 days without the consent of a doctor. Notes
