Active ingredients:
Ibuprofen 400 mg
Excipients:
Macrogol 600,Potassium hydroxide,Purified water,Gelatin,Partially dehydrated sorbitol solution,Sorbitol 36.6 mg,Ponceau 4R 0.79 mg,White printing ink, contains propylene glycol.
Application areas
The medicine is used in adults and adolescents weighing 40 kg or more (12 years and older) for short-term symptomatic treatment of:
mild to moderate pain, such as headaches, toothaches and menstrual pain;
fever and pain associated with cold.
Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is:
Adults and young adults weighing 40 kg or more (12 years and older):
Initial dose: Take 1 capsule (400 mg ibuprofen) with water. If needed, take another capsule (400 mg ibuprofen) every 6 hours. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose of 3 capsules (1200 mg ibuprofen) in 24 hours.
Contraindications
Do not take this medicine if you
are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients.
Have had shortness of breath, asthma attacks, swelling of the nasal mucosa, edema, or hives after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs in the past.
have or have a history of recurrent stomach/duodenal ulcers (peptic ulcers) or bleeding (at least 2 different episodes of proven ulcers or bleeding).
have a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation related to previous therapy with non-al anti-inflammatory drugs/anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
have unexplained blood disorders.
have severe liver or kidney dysfunction or severe heart failure.
are in the last three months of pregnancy.
are severely dehydrated (caused, for example, by vomiting, diarrhea or insufficient fluid intake).
have bleeding in the brain (cerebrovascular hemorrhage) or other active bleeding.
Should not be given to adolescents weighing less than 40 kg and children under 12 years.”
