Areas of application
For discomfort such as tingling, pins and needles, numbness or pain in nerve diseases caused by diabetes (diabetic polyneuropathy), other components of the drug.
Children and adolescents. should be excluded from treatment due to lack of clinical experience.
Dosage
The recommended daily dose is 600 mg of alpha-lipoic acid per day.
Injection solutions are used for 2-4 weeks at the initial stage of treatment or if symptoms worsen.
Contraindications for use
hypersensitivity to thioctic (α-lipoic) acid and other components;
pregnancy (there is no sufficient experience of use);
breastfeeding period (there is no sufficient experience of use);
childhood and adolescence (there is no clinical data on use in children and adolescents).”
