Scope

Dosage
Monotherapy:

The initial dose depends on your previous smoking habit. For optimal treatment, follow the following dosing schedule:
More than 20 cigarettes per day:
Initial 3-4 weeks: 21 mg strong dose
Continue 3-4 weeks: 14 mg medium dose
Fading 3-4 weeks: 7 mg mild dose
Less than 20 cigarettes per day:
Initial 3-4 weeks: 14 mg medium dose
Continue 3-4 weeks: 14 mg medium dose
Fading 3-4 weeks: 7 mg mild dose
Thus, over 9-12 weeks, less and less nicotine is gradually supplied. This rids the body of nicotine and at the same time significantly reduces the physical withdrawal symptoms.
If your desire to smoke has significantly decreased prematurely, you can switch to a lower strength patch after just one week. The 7 mg/24 hour patch is suitable for reducing the level of nicotine replacement towards the end of treatment.
