Compound
Active ingredients: nonivamide, camphor, maritime pine turpentine, eucalyptus oil.
100 g of ointment contains nonivamidum (Nonivamidum) – 0.05 g, camphor (Camphora) – 5.3 g, turpentine oil of maritime pine (Terebinthinae aetheroleum and Pino pinastro) – 9.7 g, eucalyptus oil (Eucalypti aetheroleum) – 2 .5 g.
Excipients: lanolin, solid paraffin, liquid paraffin, white petroleum jelly.
Dosage
The medicine should be applied externally to the skin. The dosage of Neo-Capsiderm in adults is a small amount of ointment, rubbed into painful areas 1-2 times a day, for no longer than 2 days. A 4-hour interval should be observed between subsequent applications. A repeated course of treatment with the drug in the same place is possible only after a break of at least 14 days. After applying the ointment, wash your hands thoroughly and do not touch your eyes and mucous membranes.
If the ointment is applied to the same place for a long time, sensory nerves may be damaged.
Action
When applied to the skin, Neo-Capsiderm irritates it, causing hyperemia and redness, and as a result, heating it. The drug causes dilation of blood vessels, due to which the diseased area is better supplied with blood, swelling and inflammation subside faster, and therefore pain gradually disappears.
Indications
The drug is used as a warming agent for muscle pain (muscle strain, painful muscle spasms), arthralgia (arthritis) and neuralgia (radiculitis, sciatica).
Contraindications
Prohibited use in children. Do not use if you have damaged skin, hypersensitivity to mint products, salicylates or other ingredients of the drug.”
