Onytec 80 mg is an antifungal medicated nail polish indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate nail fungus , also called onychomycosis, which can be cured by ciclopirox .
It has significant activity (broad-spectrum antifungal agent), and is recommended for local use on fingernails, toenails and the skin immediately adjacent to it.
Its active substance is ciclopirox, dosed at 80 mg per 1 g of polish. Ciclopirox prevents the growth of fungi responsible for mycosis while destroying them.
The other components of its formula are: Ethyl acetate, 96% ethanol, cetostearyl alcohol, hydroxypropyl chitosan and purified water.
