Cliptol gel is a medication recommended for adults . It is formulated with an anti-inflammatory (ibuprofen) and menthol. It is used locally , in short-term treatment of minor trauma such as minor sprains , contusions or sports injuries.
The active substances are Ibuprofen (5 g) and levomenthol (3 g) per 100 g of gel.
The excipients are composed of propylene glycol, di-isopropanolamine, carbomer 980, 96% ethanol and purified water.
Dosage of Cliptol gel
Cliptol gel is reserved for adults, at a rate of 2 to 3 applications per day , taking care to space each use at least 4 hours apart . Do not exceed 3 daily applications.
The duration of treatment is limited to 5 days . After this period, if no improvement is noted or if signs of worsening occur, you should consult a doctor. Cliptol gel
is applied locally to the affected area, with a gentle massage to ensure good penetration of the medication. It is very important to wash your hands thoroughly after each use. The minimum effective dose should be used for the shortest possible time to avoid the risk of adverse effects.
